Portal API is a PHP framework. It is mainly aimed at the development of internet/intranet portals.
The core system is made up of a templating system (using Smarty), DB access (through PEAR) and ACL management. It also features a plethora of modules aiming at various scopes, like CMS, image manipulation, users and groups management and more.
